Questions sellers ask
Do I need coding skills?
No. Chotafy is built for small business owners with zero technical experience — sign up, add products, and your store is live.
How do WhatsApp orders work?
Every product has an order button that opens WhatsApp with a prefilled message, so customers can order or ask questions in one tap.
How do I actually get paid?
You connect your own UPI ID (or collect manually) in Store Settings. Payments go straight to you — Chotafy never holds your money or takes a cut.
How do I ship orders?
Connect your own Shiprocket account in Store Settings, then book a courier from any order: you see the prices and delivery dates, pick one, and print the label. Your customer can track the parcel live on your store. Shipping another way? Just add the courier name and tracking number to the order.
Can I use my own domain like yourshop.com?
Yes, on Pro and Unlimited. Buy a domain from any domain company, enter it in Store Settings, add the DNS record we show you, and your store opens at your domain with a free SSL certificate.
Can I change how my store looks later?
Yes. Switch themes anytime from Store Settings. The Free plan includes Warm and Minimal; Pro and Unlimited include all 5 themes.
Is there a mobile app?
The Android app is coming soon. Until then, manage your products, orders and settings from the dashboard in any phone browser.
Can I use Chotafy in Hindi?
Yes. Your dashboard can be switched to Hindi from the menu, and back to English anytime.
When will paid plans be available?
Paid plans are coming soon. The Free plan is fully available today with no waitlist.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your store stays live and customers can keep ordering. It moves to the Free plan: products above the Free limit are hidden, not deleted, and you choose which ones stay visible (otherwise your oldest products stay). Videos, reviews and extra photos are hidden too, and the Chotafy badge returns to your store. Pay again and everything comes back.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Billing in your dashboard. Your paid plan stays active until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your store moves to the Free plan as described above. Nothing is deleted.
